Drying Filaments

Dry filament is vital for successful 3D prints. We have a dehydrator in our 3D printing room for this purpose.

Please do not discard the resealable bags that come with your filament. If you are not using a dry box, put your spools back in the bag when you are done printing.

Filament Printers

  • Bring your filament: The "unobtainium" filaments are free to use. Give, and you shall receive.

  • Stick around for the first few layers: First-layer adhesion is critical to printing success.

  • Unload when done: Remove your prints and unload the filament. For overnight prints, please leave a note on Slack with instructions.
