# 3D Printing

### Filament Printers

* **Bring your filament:** The <mark style="color:purple;">**"unobtainium"**</mark> filaments are free to use. Give, and you shall receive.
* **Stick around for the first few layers:** First-layer adhesion is critical to printing success.
* **Unload when done:** Remove your prints and unload the filament. For overnight prints, please leave a note on Slack with instructions.
* **Report any issues:** We can't fix it if we don't know it's broken.

### Resin Printers

* **Bring your resin:** The "unobtainium" resins are free to use. Give, and you shall receive.
* **PPE needed:** <mark style="color:red;">Resin is toxic. Wear gloves.</mark> Tools should not be brought out of the room.
* **Clean Up:** Wipe all spills.
